A hidden leak in a supply line is under pressure around the clock, so even a small one can waste a lot of water and soak framing, drywall or the soil under a slab before it shows. The goal is to find the exact spot, so the repair opens one small area instead of a whole wall or floor.
You can do the first check yourself. Turn off every tap and water-using appliance, then look at the water meter. If the low-flow indicator is still moving, water is going somewhere. Shut the main valve at the house and check again: if the meter stops, the leak is inside the house; if it keeps moving, the leak is likely in the line between the meter and the house.
From there, we isolate sections of piping with pressure tests, listen along the lines with acoustic equipment, and use thermal imaging to spot hot water leaks in slabs and walls. Once we know where it is, we explain the options: a spot repair, rerouting the line, or a repipe if the piping is failing in several places.
